Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect. We collect your name, email address, and usage data including attempt history, voice practice counts, practice transcripts, scores, and progress data. For voice-enabled features, this may also include microphone audio input, spoken responses, and conversational data, as described in the AI Data-Sharing Consent screen.

2. AI Data-Sharing Consent. Before any voice practice session begins, the app displays a consent screen listing the exact data sent, the providers receiving it, and the purpose. You must tap "I AGREE & CONTINUE" before any data is transmitted. If you tap "I DO NOT AGREE", no data is sent and you are returned to the previous screen. You can withdraw consent at any time from Settings → AI Data Sharing, which blocks all subsequent voice sessions and AI processing until you consent again. This consent is separate from microphone permission.

3. Microphone, Speech Recognition, and Real-Time Voice AI. PACES Master Path uses your microphone to enable spoken conversations with simulated patients and examiners. Depending on the feature you use, your audio and spoken responses are processed in one of two ways:

ElevenLabs (real-time voice conversation): For interactive voice stations, your microphone audio, spoken responses, and conversational data are sent to ElevenLabs to provide real-time voice conversation with simulated patients and examiners. ElevenLabs processes this data to provide the service, and may retain it according to its own privacy policy and retention practices. PACES Master Path does not control and cannot guarantee deletion of data once it has been transmitted to ElevenLabs.

Browser speech recognition (voice-to-text): For other voice features, speech recognition is performed by your browser's built-in service: Chrome and Edge use Google's speech recognition service; Safari and iOS use Apple's speech recognition. Live audio is sent to these browser-vendor services for transcription. PACES Master Path does not store audio recordings of your sessions. The resulting text transcripts are used to generate AI replies and educational feedback. Google and Apple may retain this data according to their own privacy policies and retention practices.

4. AI Language Model Processing. Your transcribed responses and the conversation context are sent to Base44's Core AI service, which uses language models from OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic (selected automatically based on the task) to generate the simulated patient/examiner replies and your performance feedback. These providers process the text to produce responses and may retain it for a limited period as described in their respective privacy policies. PACES Master Path does not control and cannot guarantee deletion of data once it has been transmitted to these providers.

5. Voice Generation (Text-to-Speech). The AI-generated reply text is sent to Base44's Core text-to-speech service to produce the spoken audio you hear. Only the reply text is sent — no personal data from your account is included.

6. Data Storage and Retention. Your account data, practice transcripts, scores, and progress are stored securely on Base44's cloud infrastructure. Authentication tokens are handled server-side. Voice transcripts and scores are linked to your account and retained until you delete your account. We do not store audio recordings of your practice sessions. Payment records, where they exist, are retained for legal and financial record-keeping with your identity disassociated.

Third-party provider retention: ElevenLabs, Google, Apple, OpenAI, and Anthropic process your data according to their own privacy policies and retention practices. Audio and text sent to these providers are processed to provide the service and may be retained by the provider for a limited period as described in their respective privacy policies. PACES Master Path does not control and cannot guarantee deletion of data once it has been transmitted to these third-party providers. To delete your PACES Master Path stored data, use the Delete Account option in Settings, or contact support. Data already processed by third-party providers is subject to their respective retention policies.

7. Third-Party Login. You can sign in using Google or Apple (Sign in with Apple). When you use these providers, your authentication is handled by Google or Apple respectively. If you use Sign in with Apple's Hide My Email feature, Apple provides a relay email address instead of your real email. We do not merge accounts solely on an unverified email match.

8. Your Rights. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes your attempt history, voice transcripts, scores, study plans, and profile data. Sessions are revoked upon deletion. If you signed in with Apple, your Sign in with Apple session is also revoked. Any legally required payment records are retained with your identity disassociated.

9. Data We Do Not Share. We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell your data.
